But the watermelons were very large and I was still small, and struggling with the first one, I wasn’t able to keep track of the heavy traffic. I was lucky my head had not been crushed in the same way, as I’d been struck by a speeding motorcycle and gone under its wheel. However, my leg was injured. The rider took pity on me and gave me a lift home, and I limped into my house.
