Data Integration: The Relational Logic Approach

Facts integration is a severe challenge in our more and more interconnected yet unavoidably heterogeneous international. there are lots of info assets to be had in organizational databases and on public info platforms just like the world-wide-web. no longer strangely, the resources frequently use varied vocabularies and assorted information buildings, being created, as they're, via diverse humans, at various instances, for various reasons.

This booklet constitutes the joint refereed complaints of the 4th overseas Workshop on Approximation Algorithms for Optimization difficulties, APPROX 2001 and of the fifth foreign Workshop on Ranomization and Approximation ideas in machine technological know-how, RANDOM 2001, held in Berkeley, California, united states in August 2001.

Relational and Algebraic Methods in Computer Science: 15th International Conference, RAMiCS 2015 Braga, Portugal, September 28 – October 1, 2015, Proceedings

This booklet constitutes the court cases of the fifteenth overseas convention on Relational and Algebraic equipment in desktop technology, RAMiCS 2015, held in Braga, Portugal, in September/October 2015. The 20 revised complete papers and three invited papers awarded have been conscientiously chosen from 25 submissions. The papers care for the idea of relation algebras and Kleene algebras, method algebras; fastened element calculi; idempotent semirings; quantales, allegories, and dynamic algebras; cylindric algebras, and approximately their program in components akin to verification, research and improvement of courses and algorithms, algebraic methods to logics of courses, modal and dynamic logics, period and temporal logics.

Our system utilizes both the powerful processing abilities of MatLab and the dynamic interface of LabVIEW in a single platform. Thirdly, we have compared the performance of each algorithm through measures such as execution time, sensitivity, and specificity for all five algorithms based on four different datasets. In the near future, we intend to further improve performance by utilizing dynamic Bayesian network algorithms that more accurately reflect living cells’ dynamic behavior. Our approach will then be used to explore the gene networks of human cells based on the microarray datasets of human cancers.

A Select interface will be displayed to guide the users in running the program. By selecting the desired algorithm, GNGS will load the gene data and the system-constructed network from the selected gene dataset. After the gene network is displayed, the performance will then be calculated and shown in the summary table.
